Description
Español: El Vaso de los Guerreros es una pieza ibera que mide algo más de 40 cm de altura y está datado en la segunda mitad del siglo III a.C. Su decoración figurativa muestra luchas entre soldados a pie y a caballo, además de algunos animales. Las imágenes casi perdidas después de 2500 años se realzó mediante una aplicación estadística de proceso de imágenes denominada DStretch, un complemento para ImageJ desarrollado por Jon Harman. Aunque DStretch fue programada para el análisis de pinturas prehistóricas en abrigos y cuevas, lo hemos usado para piezas de cerámica con decoración pintada. La fotografía original se tomó con una cámara Pentax 645Z de 51 Mpx e iluminación con paneles LED bicolor; se corrigió el color mediante un perfil específico y se procesó finalmente con DStretch. Las fotos originales fueron tomadas en el Museo Arqueológico Nacional de España, en Madrid.
