Description
English: Total Lunar Eclipse visible from Balai Cerap Kusza in Terengganu using 8 inch F/6 telescope and ZWO ASI120MC-S camera. This image is taken about about 3 minutes before totality ended (2:49 Local Time). According to simulation, the magnitude at this time was estimated at 1.05, dimmer than Saturn. On this mostly cloudy night, Saturn appeared more frequently than the eclipsed moon, proving that how dark is Total Lunar Eclipse can be. When viewing through finder scope, many surrounding stars were far more visible compared to what is normally seen during a Full Moon.
