Kaj sta HIV in aids? HIV ali virus humane imunske pomanjkljivosti je virus, ki okuži človeške imunske celice. Sčasoma se število imunskih celic zmanjša, kar oslabi imunski sistem in omogoči okužbo pacientov z drugimi virusi. Ta video pojasnjuje patofiziologijo virusne okužbe, pomembne znake in simptome HIV ter klinične pokazatelje aidsa. Podaja tudi pregled diagnoze in zdravljenja. Danes je svetovni dan boja proti aidsu.
