Getting Started

Q: How do I add a window rule?

Steps to add a new window rule:

  1. From the Window Rules tab, click the "New Window Rule" toolbar button or click the "New Window Rule" menu choice from the "File" menu
  2. Enter a unique name for the rule
  3. Click the "Add..." button to add an identifier for the rule
  4. Follow the listed steps at the top of the dialog then click "OK"
  5. Click "Next >"
  6. Select the action to be applied to the window
  7. Select when this action should be applied to the window
  8. Click "Finish"

  1. From the Window Rules tab, drag the desired window from the Windows pane and drop it on the Rules pane above
  2. Enter a unique name for the rule
  3. Make any desired changes to the automatically generated list of identifiers for the window
  4. Follow from step 5 above

Q: How do I add a notification icon rule?

Steps to add a new notification icon rule:

  1. From the Notification Icon Rules tab, click the "New Notification Icon Rule" toolbar button or click the "New Notification Icon Rule" menu choice from the "File" menu
  2. Enter a unique name for the rule
  3. Click the "Add..." button to add an identifier for the rule
  4. Follow the listed steps at the top of the dialog then click "OK"
