Information on temporary account IP viewer rights

[edit]

Hello 維基小霸王,

On November 12, temporary accounts will be enabled on Commons. The IP of unregistered users will then be hidden for most users. You, as a patroller or license reviewer, are eligible to request the new temporary account IP viewer right, if you need it to continue fighting vandalism and abuse on Commons. If you want to request the right, please file the request here. Please be aware that you also have to accept the Wikimedia Access to Temporary Account IP Addresses Policy in your preferences. For more information about temporary accounts, look at the project page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:33, 7 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Interview about the Library back up project? :)

[edit]

Dear 小霸王,

I am working on an index of library books in and out of the commons, and talking to people working on aspects of that work. The library back up project is impressive (and even most Commons users are not aware of it!) -- are you interested in being interviewed for the project? I'd also love to know of any statistics you maintain, and how you choose what types of completion / coverage stats to use to track your own work. For instance, the explanation given here is a useful guidance for anyone attempting something similar for another slice of the global library. Warm regards, --SJ+ 00:27, 8 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Dear SJ+,
I am glad to be interviewed. The stats are displayed or linked on the project page. I don't have private stats.
Warm regards, 維基小霸王 (talk) 11:15, 8 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

File:CNTS-00047919784 한글갈 - 正音學.pdf

[edit]
File:CNTS-00047919784 한글갈 - 正音學.pdf has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
